As I love travelling, I often think about how to include the family in it. I'm essentially a solo traveler and 90% of my trips are by motorbike.\u00a0<\/p>

I want to show our daughter the beauties of life and instill in her an appreciation for travel and harmony with nature from an early age. And so I was looking for a way. Of course, I could have gone through Booking, but surely there must be a better way to spend time together and outdoors. Especially since both my girls are terrible animal lovers \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

So, one caravan is attached and the other is not prepared. Therefore, a caravan or a motorhome, also called a campervan, was considered. I didn't feel up to towing a caravan or a large beast behind the ball [hitch], so only the campervan was an option.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

And so I started searching and Googling and Googling. Of course, there are many rental companies, but either they were far away, and going 200km there and 200km back for a car didn't seem economical, or the cars were too big, or too small. And so I turned to a Facebook group for a tip. From one lady, I got a tip for a small family rental company. Transit transformer motorhome rental<\/a> And so I contacted them, got the initial information about the options and price. They were really fair and so we reached an agreement. The financial terms were acceptable and they are reasonably priced for a wide range of travellers. By the way, we became friends and started helping each other in our businesses. So I can only recommend them and I don't think this was my last rental, not just this year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The second major task was to find a suitable location. We left this task until the day before our departure, as the weather forecast was unpredictable. We didn't want a completely wild location, and as this was our first camping trip, we wanted amenities, particularly with our 2.5-year-old daughter in mind, who can imitate the dead opossum from the cartoon Ice Age. But we have no idea how she came up with that. Since then, she's been the opossum, otherwise, she's Babu, or little worm \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

For finding suitable camping spots, especially in the Czech Republic, the Bezkempu.cz app is great.<\/p>

We found a small farm like this. Our mill in Hrad\u010dany. . <\/a>\u00a0<\/p>

It's a farm full of goats, sheep, geese, ducks, they also have cats and a dog named M\u00e1\u0161a, who loves chicken steaks. On the farm, you can buy fresh eggs or a truly excellent goat cheese, which doesn't smell at all, and I'm a \u201efussy eater\u201c when it comes to goat cheese. The owners are again very nice and accommodating people. The lady of the house takes care of the menagerie, and the gentleman has a great passion for restoring old motorcycles, mainly CZ, and very old cars. There are several of them in the yard, and each one awaits a new story, a new experience. Whether in the form of a swing, climbing frame, or a luxurious apartment with air conditioning. By arrangement, you can go with the lady of the house to pasture the little goats in the nearby meadow with your little ones. In the mill, they also have, or are preparing, a flat for those who don't favour motorhomes or tents. The farm has a sufficiently large shelter with a gas cooker, grill, and electricity. They also have a separate flushing toilet with showers, hot water, and an outdoor sink.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On the first day of our arrival, we had nice weather, we were running around in shorts, and we set up camp in our campervan. Babu discovered \u201ea million\u201c animals and a large pool that had been converted into a mega sandbox with tons of toys. And so, poor thing, she didn't know where to [turn] first. Chasing the goats and geese was probably more compelling.<\/p>

However, we woke up to a rainy morning, so with the pleasant patter of raindrops, we gradually emerged around nine o'clock. There was no need to rush.\u00a0<\/p>

Since it was our first camping trip, we struggled a bit with space, setting things up, the rain, and the low ceiling, didn't we Evi\u010dka? \ud83d\ude42 Another problem was the rain and the need for Babu to go outside no matter what. So we dressed her in a raincoat, we threw on whatever we could find, and off we went outside. Luckily, the weather was such that the rain alternated with no rain \ud83d\ude42 we just had to change the little worm more often. We could work on the laptop under the shelter, so we combined all these possibilities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The following days were forecast to be rain-free and sunny, so we could afford to put up the awning, place the table and chairs underneath it, and enjoy the peace and magic of the farm. The plot was completely overgrown with trees, so it was almost windless in the parking area. Babu was extremely content. She enjoyed the large fenced plot, the pile of animals, and the endless opportunities for discovering everything.<\/p>

Campervan and Babu took a liking to each other, and on the very first day after returning and handing over the vehicle, she was asking to go back in it, but you can't always do that\u2026 \ud83d\ude42 However, I believe we'll be able to do it again soon.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
